<br />5 Amended: <br />4 Amended: 2/1 9102 <br />3 Amended: 9/4/0 I <br />2 Amended: 6/27/01 <br />I Amended: 1/1010 I <br />Effective 9/5/00 <br />CilY ofCenterville Ord, #4 <br /> <br />Coverage - That portion of a lot covered by principal and accessory use structures. <br /> <br />Cul-de-sac - A local street, one end of which is closed and consists of a circular turn around. <br /> <br />Day Care Facilities - A state licensed day care facility, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462. <br /> <br />Deck - A horizontal, unenclosed platform with or without attached railings, seats, trellises, or other <br />features, attached or functionally related to a principal use or site. <br /> <br />Density - The number of dwelling units permitted per net acre of land. <br /> <br />Development - All structures and other modifications of the natural landscape above and below ground <br />or water, on a particular site. <br /> <br />District - See Zone. <br /> <br />District Zoning - An area of land for which there are uniform regulations governing the use of buildings <br />nd premises. <br /> <br />Drive-In Establishment - An establishment which accommodates the patron's automobile from which the <br />occupants may receive a service or in which products purchased from the establishment may be <br />consumed or business conducted in the automobile. <br /> <br />Dwelling - A building or portion thereof that provides living facilities for one or more families. <br /> <br />Dwelling, Single-Family, Attached (group, row, and townhouses) - One (1) of two (2) or more <br />residential buildings having a common or a party wall separating dwelling units. <br /> <br />Dwelling,' Single-Family, Detached - A residential building containing not more than one (1) dwelling <br />unit entirely surrounded by open space on the same lot. <br /> <br />Dwelling, Two-Family - A building used exclusively for occupancy by two (2) families living <br />independently of each other. <br /> <br />Dwelling, Multiple - A detached, residentiai building containing three (3) or more dwelling units, including <br />what is commonly known as an apartment building, but not including group, row or townhouses. <br />Dwelling, Seasonal - A dwelling not used for permanent residence and not occupied for more then six <br />months in each year. <br /> <br />lelling Unit - One (1) or more rooms physically arranged so as to create an independent <br />. housekeeping establishment for occupancy by one (1) family with separate toilets and facilities for <br />cooking and sleeping. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 69 <br />
