We did not <br />measure those comers that are near downtown area since these are older homes and obviousiy ctoserthan <br />the setbacks that we are seeking. <br /> <br />We also did not measure the new duplexes located where the tree lot used 10 be. Those properties are well <br />short of the 35' setback required by R-2 zoning. Why can these homes have such less setbacks from street? <br /> <br />All we are trying to do is build toward the side street in the same manner as our neighbor across the street <br />from us and to the east (comer) of us. Most of the comer homes in our immediale area that are as old as OulS <br />are ctoserto the side street than we seek In build. <br /> <br />We are asking the Cententille city council along with planning and zoning commission to either 1) change <br />current setback oldlnances In bring mast nfthe abnve homes within compliance and allow us to alS(} build In <br />these standards or 2) advise us on how to build in the same manner that my nearby neighbors have. <br /> <br />We believe that adjusting the side street setback fora prime structure to 20' will not adversely affecl <br />appearance of any neighborhood within Cententille. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Tracy Tratar <br /> <br />Kathy Tratar <br />
