<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> AUGUST 25, 2004 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on August 25, 2004, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Mayor Terry Sweeney <br /> Council Member Paar <br /> Council Member Capra <br /> Council Member Lee <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers <br /> <br />STAFF: <br />City Administrator Ms. Moore-Sykes <br /> City Attorney Mr. Hoeft <br /> City Engineer Mr. Peterson <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney called the August 25, 2004, City Council meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney added the Dutch Elm Disease tree under New business as well as an <br />overweight permit request for Mr. Emert and the Trio wedding reception. He then noted <br />that number one under Appearances would be removed. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft requested that an executive session to discuss the City’s litigation <br />with Royal Oaks Realty be added. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the agenda as amended. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br /> <br />1.August 11, 2004 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Council Member Capra requested that the spelling of LaLonde be corrected. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes requested adjournment information for the meeting. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br />
