City of Centerville <br />November 10, 2004 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that the information provided to Council did not apply and <br />then recommended that Staff check with the State Auditor’s Office and the League of <br />Minnesota Cities for information on legal expenses paid by cities of the same size as <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />3. Ordinance Codification <br /> <br />Ms. Bender recommended that Council proceed with the Codification as it will make <br />Staff’s job easier in the long run. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Lee to move <br />forward with the Ordinance Codification. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br />1. Annual Liquor License/Tobacco Renewal <br /> <br />This item will be on the November 23, 2004 Agenda. <br /> <br />2. 1601 LaMotte Drive – Purchase Agreement <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had provided a copy of his letter for informational <br />purposes. <br /> <br />3. Center Street Monitoring <br /> <br />There was a memo provided indicating that no more monitoring would be done unless <br />further requested by Council. <br /> <br />th <br />4. 6931 – 20 Avenue <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer indicated that Rice Creek Watershed District has given Mr. Drilling notice to <br />comply and, if he does not do so, they can take action against him. <br /> <br />5. Meeting Date Change <br /> <br />Council discussed changing the November 24, 2004 meeting date and agreed to move it <br />to November 23, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft will be unable to attend but will send someone else from his office. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Lee to change the <br />November 24, 2004 meeting date to November 23, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Page 8 of 10 <br /> <br />
