(651) 429.8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03 - 071 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE CAPITAL EXPENDITURE <br />POLICY IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH GOVERNMENTAL ACCOUNTING <br />STANDARDS BOARD (GASB) STATEMENT NUMBER 34 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City ofCenterville has found it necessary to revise <br />the City's Capital and General Expenditure Policy, with regard to the depreciation and <br />recording of capital assets, in order to comply with the provisions of GASB Statement <br />34; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council has reviewed proposed changes to the City's Capital and General <br />Expenditure Policy, dated December 23, 2003, as attached; and, <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Centerville <br />hereby adopts the revised City of Centerville Capital and General Expenditure Policy, as <br />revised on December 23, 2003 as attached. <br /> <br /> <br />D by the City Council this 23rd day of December, 2003. <br /> <br />Attest <br /> <br />'-~--------V.-~P'~ <br />C_- City Clerk <br />
