NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Resolution #04-057 Adopting the Final Property Tax Levy for 2005 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Capra to approve <br />Resolution #04-057 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />2. Resolution #04-058 Providing for the Prepayment and Redemption of Certain <br />Outstanding General Obligation Bonds of the City <br /> <br />Mr. Meyer explained that the City would save money in interest charges by calling the <br />bonds. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Resolution #04-058 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />3. Resolution #04-059 Adopting the Final Budget Levy <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />Resolution #04-59 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Letter Signed by Mayor Regarding Cougar Cash <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney read the letter to be sent to Main Street Bank concerning Cougar Cash. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Lee to authorize <br />the Mayor to sign the letter to Main Street Bank regarding Cougar Cash. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. Staff Participation in CSAH 14 Meeting <br /> <br />Council discussed the matter and directed Staff to send Mr. Palzer to the meeting. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 1. Centennial Lakes Police Department Building <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney explained the proposal from Circle Pines concerning the building to be <br />constructed. He then indicated that Circle Pines has asked for a payout of the lease in the <br />amount of $16,975. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney outlined the costs that Circle Pines has invested in the property and said <br />they may also have to seek further payment from the City if the County requires a land <br />swap. <br />Page 5 of 8 <br /> <br />
