<br />1.;- <br /> <br />I; <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />'Or <br />-, <br />.. .~ts';' <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Members <br /> <br />FROM: Staff <br /> <br />SUBillCT: 2002 Summer Park Programs (Wargo/Centerville Parks and Rec.) <br /> <br />DATE: May 8, 2002 <br /> <br />Please find the attached Parks and Recreation Committee meeting minutes of April 3, <br />2002 and the proposed park programs presented by Mr. Murowski of Wargo Nature <br />Center. <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Committee recommended to Council the approval of the <br />Wargo Nature Center/Centerville Summer Park Programs for 2002 in an amount not to <br />exceed $500 with a pre-paid fee of$2 for each participant. <br /> <br />The Parks and Recreation Committee intend either placing an ad in the Quad Community <br />Press and/or distn"buting flyers at the Elementary School in an amount not to exceed $350 <br />and would also like to have Council approval on this item. <br /> <br />Attached, please find a copy of the "City of Centerville" Expenditures - 2002 Budget and <br />notice that there is a line item for Parks Programs, (amount budgeted $12,000) and a line <br />item for advertising, (amount budgeted $2,000) where monies may be expended from. <br />
