<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 24, 2002 <br /> <br />3. Resolution #02-012 (Tri-City CSAH l41I35E Interchange) <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated the proposed Resolution is the result of the three-city meeting <br />at Lino Lakes concerning the upgrade ofCSAH 14. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member <br />Travis to approve Resolution #02-012. (Tri-Citv CSAH 14/I35E Interchanl!e). All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Otter Lake Animal Control Contract. Prooosed Revisions Ordinance #24. and <br />Resolution #02-014 - Fee Schedule 2002 <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member <br />Capra to adopt the proposed fee schedule. approve Resolution #02-014. and direct <br />Staff to revise Ordinance #24 and set UP the public hearinl! at the same time as the <br />gamblinl! ordinance. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />5. Police Commission Memo <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated the Police Commission is asking for a 15,000 square foot <br />building that will cost approximately $3,000,000. He then noted that the other cities have <br />asked for alternatives because this would add another $100,000 per city to the cost of <br />police service for 20 years. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked whether the other cities have approved another <br />officer. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson indicated she would not vote for a building or another officer <br />and said she feels this matter should be discussed during the budgeting session. <br /> <br />It was the consent of Council that the Police Commission should be prepared to present <br />alternatives to their building proposal. <br /> <br />IX. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The City of Centerville April 11, 2002 through April 24, 2002 Expenditures. <br />2. Centennial Fire District Expenditures <br />3. Business Appreciation Dinner - May 21, 2002 (Approve Funds) <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Nelson. seconded bv Council Member Capra to <br />approve the Consent Al!enda as presented.
