Deferred Comp Report <br /> <br />This matter is still pending. No report. <br /> <br />2. Finance Director <br /> <br />The position has been filled. <br /> <br />3. ABDO. ABDO. Eick & Mever <br /> <br />The audit is completed and the Auditor will meet with the new Finance Director to <br />discuss his findings. <br /> <br />4. MACTA Work Session <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Council Member Capra and the City Clerk are interested <br />in attending the work session scheduled for May 3, 2002. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she was told it would be beneficial to have <br />representatives at that work session. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson requested an update on the exempt status of the public works <br />director. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated he had seen a draft document in his in box upon returning <br />from vacation and said he would review it and provide something for Council review at <br />the next meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson asked if the web site was up and running. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes explained that the website was not up and running yet but noted that <br />Ms. Stephan is devoting one to two hours per day to getting to know the system. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson asked whether it would be possible to have the City put <br />something in the newspaper to keep residents informed such as the week in review. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes reported that the skate park flier and a garage sale survey were being <br />sent out with the utility billing. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes noted that Earth Day for the Quad Cities is being celebrated on April <br />20,2002 at Wargo Nature Center. <br /> <br />Page 15 of 16 <br />
