APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL <br /> <br />/: <br /> <br />At least 90 days before a license issued under this ordinance is to be nmewed, <br />an application for renewal shall be filed with ~ city. The decision whether (II' not to <br />renew a license rests within the sound discretion of the Council. No licensee lias a <br />right to have the license renewed. <br /> <br />Section 14. It' the results of:a <br />pl'1l1iminllry investigation warrant, in the sound discretion of the Council, a <br />comprehensive backl:l'Ound and financial investigation. !he Council may either <br />condud the innstigatioll itself or contract with the CDmmlssloner at Public Sllf~ty <br />for the investigation. The investigation fee for this comprehensive background and <br />financial in vtsugation to be paid by the applicant shall be $500, less ilny amount <br />paid for tile mitial lnvestJgatJon if the Invl3stigatioll is to be condllded within the <br />state, and $10,000, less any amount paid for the initial investigation, if the <br />Investlg:.ltion is required outside th~ state.
