Garages may not be converted to habitable space without replacing the <br />required garage; and <br /> <br />D. Single-family dwellings other than approved earth sheltered homes shall have at <br />least a 3/12 roof pitch and shall be covered with an approved roofing material; and <br /> <br />E. All Single-family dwellings shall have roof overhangs, which extend a minimum of <br />one (1) foot from all the walls of the structure. <br /> <br />Division 45: Temporary Dwellinas and Structures <br /> <br />The use and occupancy of a tent, recreation vehicle or other temporary dwellings for the purpose of <br />living quarters is not permitted in the City, except as approved by the City Council under special <br />circumstances. <br /> <br />Temporary structures and trailers used in conjunction with construction work shall be permitted only <br />during the period that the construction work is in progress.
