Where the conditions imposed by any provisions of this Ordinance are <br />either more or less restrictive than comparable conditions imposed by any other regulation, the <br />regulations which impose the higher standard or requirements shall prevail. <br /> <br />Section 010-050: Severability. lfany provision ofthis Ordinance or the application of any provision to <br />particular circumstances is held invalid, the remainder of the Ordinance or the application of such <br />provision to other circumstances shall not be affected. <br /> <br />Section 010-060: Repeal. Ordinances, including all prior Zoning Ordinances and Amendments or parts <br />thereof in force at the time this Ordinance shall take effect and Ordinances inconsistent herewith are <br />hereby repealed, including Centerville Ordinance #10. Nothing contained in this Ordinance repeals or <br />amends any Ordinance requiring a permit or license to engage in any business or occupation. <br /> <br />Division 15: Definitions <br /> <br />Section 015-010 Specific purposes. For the purposes of this Ordinance, certain words contained <br />herein have the following meaning. Other words not included in this Section shall have the meaning <br />defined in Minnesota State Statutes. Other words not so defined shall have the meaning customarily <br />associated with them. <br /> <br />Section 015-020: Definitions. <br /> <br />Abandonment - To cease or discontinue a use or activity without intent to resume, but excluding <br />temporary or short term interruptions to a use or activity during periods of remodeling, maintaining, or <br />otherwise improving or rearranging a facility, or during normal periods of vacation or seasonal closure. <br /> <br />Abutting - Having a common border with, or being separated from such a common border by a right-of- <br />way, alley or easement. <br /> <br />Accessory Building - A subordinate structure detached from but located on the same lot as the <br />principal structure, the use of which is incidental and accessory to that of the principal structure. <br /> <br />Accessory Use - A use incidental to, and on the same lot as, a principal use. <br /> <br />Agriculture - The use of land for agriculture purposes, including farming, dairying, pasturage, <br />agricultural, horticulture, floriculture, viticulture, and animal poultry husbandry and the necessary <br />accessory uses for packing, treating, or storing the produce; provided, however, the operation of any <br />such accessory uses shall be secondary to that of normal agricultural activities. <br /> <br />Alley - A public or private way permanently reserved as a secondary means of access to abutting <br />property. <br /> <br />- PH;.:.;~-,-:~:,:...-::f,--.A <br />
