TO REVIEW THE SAME, <br />WORK JOINTLY/COOPERATIVELY WITH EACH OTHER IN REGARDS TO <br />CITY SPECIFICATIONS AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON STREET <br />AND STORM SEWER <br />IMPROVEMENTS-21sT AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to numerous meetings with affected property owners, appraisals of <br />the affected property owners property and consideration of Councils from both <br />communities and the current condition of said roadway; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, several reports have been ordered by the City of Lino Lakes and a <br />cooperative effort has been made by both communities to work towards the above stated <br />intent; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofCenterville is ordering the City ofCenterville's engineering firm, <br />Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Assoc_, to review the most recently submitted feasibility <br />study prepared by TKDA and customize it according to the City of Centerville's <br />specifications pursuant to their motion of June 26, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said report was received by the City Council at its regularly scheduled <br />meeting of September 11, 2002; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost-effective and feasible; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such street in <br />accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all <br />or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of <br />$166,500. <br />2_ A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 25th <br />day of September, 2002 in the council chambers of the city hall located at <br />
