<br />Effective 9/5/00 <br />City of Centerville Ord. #4 <br />property is located. The Interim Use must meet or exceed the performance standards set forth in this <br />Ordinance and other applicable City Ordinances. The interim use must comply with the specific <br />standards for the use identified in this Ordinance, and must comply with all conditions of approval, which <br />shall be included in an interim use permit agreement. <br /> <br />Section 185-050: Conditions. The City may attach conditions to approval of a permit to mitigate <br />anticipated adverse impacts associated with the use, to ensure compliance with the standards of <br />approval, to protect the value of other property, and to achieve the goals and objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Division 190: Amendments <br /> <br />A. Amendments to this ordinance may be initiated by the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, City Council or by a petition of a landowner or other interested party. <br /> <br />B. Applications provided by the City must be completed, in writing, prior to any <br />consideration for an Amendment. Fees for zoning Amendments are established by <br />resolution of the City Council. <br /> <br />C. The City may require the applicant to provide plans, maps, sUNeys, etc., to ensure <br />proper review and consideration of any proposed Amendment to the written <br />provisions of this ordinance or Zoning District Boundaries. <br /> <br />D. After the filing of an application, or initiation by the City Council, the City Clerk shall <br />set a date for a public hearing. Notice of the hearing shall be posted and published <br />at least ten (10) days prior to the date of the hearing, and notice shall be mailed to <br />each property owner within three hundred fifty (350) feet of the proposed Zoning <br />District Boundary amendments. <br /> <br />E. Upon hearing the request; the Planning and Zoning Commission shall recommend <br />either approval or denial the proposed amendment and shall state the reasons of <br />said action. <br /> <br />F. Within thirty (30) days of the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, the City Council shall consider the recommendation of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission and shall approve, deny or modify the request to amend <br />this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Division 195: Special Use Permits <br /> <br />Section 195-010: Procedure. A Special Use Permit may be issued in accordance with this Section for <br />any use or purpose for which such permits are required or permitted by this ordinance. Application for a <br />special use permit shall be made by the owner to the Planning Commission on a form prescribed by the <br />Commission and accompanied by such other information as required by rules of the Commission. The <br />anning Commission may hold such hearings on the proposal to issue a special use permit as it <br />considers necessary and it shall thereafter make such recommendations on the proposal to the Council <br />as it deems advisable. Upon receipt of such recommendations, the Council shall hold whatever hearings <br />it deems advisable and shall make its decision upon the proposal to grant a special use permit. <br />Page 57 of 59 <br />
