It was felt that this policy did not pertain to <br />these groups and that they should have their own policy. <br /> <br />1.3 Authority <br />Add "by resolution" to the first sentence after the words, "any time". <br />Add "Council" after City at the end of the first sentence. <br /> <br />2-7 Capitalize "city". <br /> <br />2-11 Correct "lease" to "least". <br /> <br />2-13 City Attorney to check on "at will" employees. <br /> <br />Fourth sentence down from the top of the page: cross out "Department Head". <br />Eight sentence down from the top ofthe page: cross out "ing" on budgeting. <br /> <br />< <br /> <br />3-3 Assignment of Work <br />Cross out "Department Head" in second sentence and add "supervisor". <br />Cross out "department" and keep "organization". <br /> <br />4-2 Job Posting <br />Check with the organized employees' contract to insure that this is how it is <br />currently being done. <br /> <br />4-3 Recruitment and Selection <br />The Mayor suggested that Staff research State job descriptions and to use <br />those for the City's position descriptions. Staff responded that because the <br />State does not have several of the job positions that cities traditionally havc, <br />it would be difficult to tie Centerville'sjob descriptions to those of the State. <br /> <br />Councilmember Nelson asked about the progress Staff is making in updating <br />the job descriptions. Staff responded that several ofthe positions were <br />recently updated because of new or promoted employees. <br /> <br />Subd. 3 Application Review <br />Cross out "Department Head" and add "supervisor" in the first sentence. <br />Delete last sentence. <br /> <br />4-4 Authority <br />The first sentence proposed to end after City of Centerville <br />Delete department heads and insert City Administrator at the end of the last sentence. <br />
