Fitzgerald: <br /> <br />In June, St. Genevieve's Building Committee appeared before the City Council to discuss <br />the possibility of renovating and expanding the current church structure. As part ofthat <br />discussion, it was also proposed that the City consider vacating Goiffon Road. The City <br />Attorney indicated that as long as the police or fire departments did not see a problem <br />with the vacation and that the road was not a county road, the City could vacate it. He <br />then suggested that once we satisfied the above-mentioned concerns, that the Church <br />send a written request to the City to vacate Goiffon Road. <br /> <br />If this vacation continues to be the intention of S1.
