City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />Apri18, 2009 <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar, <br />to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />VL AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br />None <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br />None <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Res. #09-007 -Calling for a Public Hearin f.~ or Special Assessments for Backage <br />Road -Will Forward Via E-Mail <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the 21st Avenue/Backage Road project has been <br />completed. City Administrator Larson stated that there are two property owners. The City <br />owns 3 lots, totaling about 7.5 acres and Sheehy owns the other 3'/z acres. City <br />Administrator Larson stated that Lino Lakes' portion has been paid. <br />City Administrator Larson suggested having a Public Hearing on May 27, 2009. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member Paar, <br />to adopt Resolution Number 09-007, calling for a Public Hearing on May 27, 2009. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br />2. Anoka County Work Orders <br />a. #7, On CSAH 14 From I-35W to I-35E - $790 <br />City Engineer Statz stated that there are three Change Orders. One was approved in <br />advance for the lighting timer. Two of them #'s 7 & 13, have not yet been approved. <br />Work Order #7 is for repair to the sanitary manhole, which was in worse condition than <br />initially expected, will be done at the negotiated unit price of $790, which includes all <br />equipment, labor and materials required to perform the work (including the Prime <br />Contractor allowance). <br />b. #13, On CSAH 14 From I-35W to I-35E - $10,981.92 (Page 5) <br />City Engineer Statz stated that the same issue exists on the different curb boxes and stops. <br />In each case, the curb box and stop will be moved to get out of the way of the trail. <br />City Administrator Larson inquired whether all of the work that could be an extra cost to <br />the city has been completed. <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
