<br />City of Centerville <br />City CoundJ Meeting <br />May 13, 2009 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that this would be paid out of the Utility Fund: <br />first out of the Water Fund and if necessary out of the Sewer Fund. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that it is the City's policy to pay for it, the prices are <br />pretty good, but the contractor has not yet approved it. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar stated that this would be a good way to clean it all up. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member <br />Paar. to annrove Chanl!:e Order #2 Peltier Lake Drive Proiect - Mill Road <br />Watermain Loon in the amount of $61.898.20. All in favor. Scope & Fee Proposal for Bonestroo/Citv Staff Joint Construction Services for the <br />2009 Street Improvement Proiects (2009.001 & 2009.002) <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the City is committing its staff and bringing in <br />additional people. He stated that there will be some training and some overlap from <br />Bonestroo, so the City does not take on more than it can handle. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz presented a "loose" proposal, which he explained can be tightened. He <br />stated that, initially, the City will be a little dependent on Bonestroo for training and <br />overlap. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that City Engineer Statz is providing hourly assistance <br />and that this can be fine tuned. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz stated that no dollar amount is set at this time. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson suggested postponing this consideration for two weeks so more <br />cost details can be presented. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra extended a thanks to the Public Works Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that if City Staff is aware of how its facilities were built <br />previously, it would be a benefit to the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra declared a brief 5-minute break so the students attending could get their <br />attendance sheets signed. <br /> <br />3.
