All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />VI. A W ARDSIPRESENTATIONSJAPPEARANCES <br /> <br />I. Cavtain Nelson. Centennial Police Devartment <br /> <br />Captain Nelson appeared to give the City Council updates on the Centennial Police <br />Department's activities. Some of the items covered were: <br /> <br />Because of the radar speed sign on Centerville and Mill Road, speeding has been <br />reduced. <br />The Police Department has been assisting with the 8K Run. <br />An officer is working with Anoka City Water Patrol and others to resolve disputes <br />regarding water with the Peltier Lake Drive Street Project. <br />Garage door stickers continue to be handed out to homeowners to remind them to <br />close their garage doors before going to bed at night. <br />Next week, the Police Department will be helping Centerville Elementary with the <br />parades. They will have a Squad to lead the parade. <br />The Police Department has received requests for additional lights in McBride Park, <br />and they are checking to see if adding one or more lights would be possible. <br />They have started the Click it or Ticket campaign. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Paul Lund - Anoka/Blaine Airoort Expansion <br /> <br />Mr. Lund, who is a Commercial Pilot with a single-engine pilot's license, appeared to <br />express his concerns about the AnokalBlaine Airport Expansion.
