<br />t. <br /> <br />Council Member Sweeney stated that he had spoken with Mr. Todd Gardner, 1817 Fox <br />Run, who requested that Council Member Sweeney relay his opposition to recreation <br />vehicle restrictions contained in the ordinance. Mr. Joe Steele, 6926 Sumac Court, was <br />present and concurred with Mr. Gardner's opposition and stated that his children use the <br />vehicles and it occupies their time. Mr. & Mrs. Doug Frederickson, 7055 Eagle Trail, <br />were present and also concurred with the opposition previously stated and reiterated that <br />they would move out of Centerville if need be. Council Member Sweeney stated that he <br />has spoken with all firefighters and they are against any additional restrictions. Ms. <br />Vickers spoke about Council and Planning and Zoning's efforts to reach compromises <br />with the proposed draft. Steve Whittet, 7162 Brian Way, stated that he owns a motor <br />home that is 32' and did not want to see additional restrictions. <br /> <br />Several members of the audience wanted to see the length of recreational vehicles be <br />increased to 35' versus 28'. <br /> <br />Greg Owens, County Bank, presented members with a proposed sign for County Bank <br />and stated that the sign would include such items as weather, time, etc. Mr. Owens stated <br />that he felt sign restrictions should be different for commercial sites abutting county <br />roads. Mr. Owens stated that he would forward other communities' commercial sign <br />restrictions to Planning and Zoning. <br /> <br />Council Member Sweeney stated that residents could bring forward a formal petition for <br />any item contained in the new ordinance. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEM(S) <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Committee Member DeVine. seconded by Member Brainerd to adlourn the <br />Planning and Zoning/Council loint workshop of July 19.2000.
