<br />,,""',. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Effective; 3/13/91 <br />City ofCenterviJle Ord. #51 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #51 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING LAWFUL GAMBLING WITH THE CITY OF CENTERVlLLE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville does ordain: <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1. ADOPTION. <br /> <br />Chapter 349 of the Minnesota Statute is adopted by reference the same as if it were fully <br />set forth herein. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2. PROm. <br /> <br />The gross receipts from the operation of gambling devices and the conduct of raflles, less <br />reasonable sums expended for prizes, local licensing fees, taxes, mainlenance costs for the <br />devices, purchase of gambling supplies, state and federal tax, all necessary bonds. salaries and <br />clerical supplies. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3. RECORDS AND REPORTS. <br /> <br />A copy of all applications and reports applicable to the City of Centerville require by and <br />submitted to the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board shall also be submitted to the <br />City ofCenterville within seven (7) days after they were submitted to said board. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 4. PROFITS. <br /> <br />Profits from the operation of gambling devices or the conduct of rafDes shall be used <br />solely for lawful purposes as defined in Minnesota State Statutes, er 3491 and as authorized <br />at are' of the 0 ani..ation. <br /> <br /> <br />Not less than percent <br />of the profits from the operation of gambling or the conduct of raftles earned by charitable <br />organi7Jltions other than veteran's club shall be lawfully expended within the trade area of the <br />~erviIle which also includes the cities of Hugo, Lino Lakes, <br />_ Blaine, Circle Pines and Lexington? <br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
