In order to achieve this <br />purpose, Mn/DOT needs involvement from county and local officials. Through your participation in this <br />planning process, you can help develop a valuable tool that will assist all parties along the corridor in making <br />sOulld d"cisions,that.will help preserve and improve 1-35 into the future. <br /> <br />Mn/DOr is assembling a study "Advisory Comntittee" for this project. 1 request that you please provide a <br />name, title, mailing address, email address, FAX number, and phone number of one representative for the <br />studies Advisory Comntittee. Please email comntittee member contact information to Betty Winter at <br />betty. winterlaldot.state.rnn. us or by FAX at (651) 634-2162. <br /> <br />Your representative to the Advisory Comntittee can be an elected official or staff person who can provide <br />communication, advocacy for the corridor, represent your community's future plans and transportation issues, <br />and make recommendations to implementing agencies. Sub-area workgroups are also planned and will be <br />made up of Advisory Comntittee members to discuss localized corridor issues. <br /> <br />The study is expected to' be completed by June 2005. Please send your Advisory Comntittee member contact <br />information by March 26,2004 if possible, so the information is available for the fIrst ~Study Team" meeting <br />the following week. The frrst Advisory Comntittee meeting will likely be in May. The Advisory Comntittee <br />as a whole will meet a total three times over the course of the study. Sub-area work groups will meet as <br />needed to cover localized corridor issues.
