Freezer door is broken and freezer does not function properly;
. Freezer is not frost-free and is not a separate compartment;
. Unit is too small to hold items for special functions (i.e., Volunteer
Appreciation, Business Appreciation, etc.)

A slightly larger (14.9 cu. ft.) unit with a separate frost-free freezer compartment would
cost in the area of $300 plus tax. There is ample funding in the capital fund because the
City did not have a street payment this year.

Staff is requesting to spend up to $350 for a new refrigerator.

~
