DOCUMENT 00100 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be received by the City of Centerville, Minnesota in the City Hall at 1880 Main Street, until 11 :00 A.M., C.D.S.T., Thursday, August 5, 2004, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following: 2004 Seal Coat In general, work consists of the following approximate quantities: 1,300 28,000 6,600 TN GL LB Seal Coat Aggregate F A-2 Bituminous Material for Seal Coat Route and Seal The estimated construction cost for this Project is $90,000. Bidders desiring a copy of the Bidding Documents may obtain them from the Issuing Office of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 2335 West Highway 36, St. Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $40.00. Bidding Documents may be seen at the office of the City of Centerville and at the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents can also be purchased with a credit card over the internet at www.bonestroo.com. Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
