Attendance of Finance Director - GFOA Seminar - $450.00 <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney clarified that the $560.79 check to him on the Centennial Fire District <br />Claims was for reimbursement for cabinets purchased by him for the Fire Station. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee requested further information on the mileage reimbursement for <br />Ms. Stephan. <br /> <br />Ms. Stephan clarified that only $11.00 was for mileage the remainder was to reimburse <br />her for the supplies she purchased for the gardens. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Lee <br />to approve the Consent Al!:enda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />V. AWARDS~RESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Mr. Tom Fox and Mr. Jeff Helpern (Racino Group) <br /> <br />This item was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Bill Bisek. Mr. Paul Burke and Mr. Paul Steffel- MI TIF District <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Bisek of 7098 CenterviIIe Road addressed Council and asked the City to <br />consider a TIF district for the downtown area to allow for redevelopment at the same <br />time as the County Road 14 road construction. <br /> <br />Council discussed the matter and asked Staff to work with Mr. Bisek and the Downtown <br />District Association to determine the steps necessary to establish a TIF district. Council <br />also indicated that the Downtown District Association would be asked to contribute to the <br />costs associated with establishing the district. <br /> <br />Page 2 of9 <br />
