Attached is a letter that is being sent to all member city <br />mayors and chief appointed officials. It explains the Governor's action and the League position. <br /> <br />Apparently, the Governor received a great deal of pressure from cities and legislators to address the issue. <br />Thank you for all your work to contact legislators and the Govemor - it clearly made a difference. <br /> <br />Also, your city will be notified of its 2005 LGA distribution within the next week or so.
