<br />r <br /> <br />Centerville City Council <br />June 11, 2003 <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes asked to have the complaint officially submitted to the City. <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Mr. Carl BuecWer Mound Trail Reconstruction <br /> <br />Mr. Carl Buechler indicated that he has an issue with what has been billed to him not <br />with paying half He then handed out information to Council for consideration. City <br />Attorney Hoeft indicated that the matter could not be discussed because it is active <br />litigation. <br /> <br />Mr. BuecWer indicated he was open to haIf of it but some of the stuff is not his bills. He <br />then indicated he would write a check tonight if an agreement could be reached. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Lee <br />to acceot the recommendation of the City Attornev for a settlement of the Buechler <br />liti2ation in the amount of $1.200. <br /> <br />Mr. BuecWer indicated he has copies of bills from the County for the sewer line going in <br />and if he can back out the stuff that does not make any sense he is willing to pay the bill <br />that he owes. <br /> <br />VOTE: All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that a motion was passed by Council and if Mr. Buechler <br />wants to pay the $1,200 to settle the litigation then he can move forward with the <br />reconstruction of the road beyond Mound Trail to his development. He then indicated <br />that Mr. Larson should present a proposal to the City for paving the rest of the street <br />down through the cul-de-sac. He further commented that Mr. Buechler could proceed <br />with the reconstruction contiguous to his development as soon as the $1,200 is paid. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked how soon Mr. Larson would be available. Mr. <br />BuecWer indicated that that Mr. Larson is available the first week of July. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that Council is interested in paving the rest of the road <br />but would like to see the numbers. <br /> <br />2. AdministrativelPublic Works - Office Cleaning Proposals <br /> <br />Council Member Paar asked whether the comparisons were comparable. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Caora. seconded bv Council Member Lee to aoorove <br />the service contract with Coveralls for $200 oer month to clean City Hall and the <br />Public Works Buildin2.
