'FaJ((651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04 - 047 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION PROCLAMATION FOR RETIRING POLICE CHIEF JOEL HECKMAN'S <br />DEDICATED YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Joel Heckman has served the Centennial Lakes Police Department since April, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Heckman has come up through the ranks of the Department as patrol officer, investigator, <br />Deputy Chief and Chief of Pol ice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Heckman was promoted to Chief of Police in January, 1998; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Heckman in his career with the Centennial Lakes Police Department has fulfilled his duties <br />and responsibilities with integrity and professionalism; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Heckman in his capacity as Chief has been extremely proactive III implementing <br />technology, community policing, officer training, safety and well-being; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chief Heckman has at all times displayed courtesy, compassion and dedication to the residents of <br />our community; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA AND KNOWN TO ALL: <br /> <br />We have set aside October 15th to honor Chief Heckman's contribution to the peace and security of the City of <br />Centerville. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 13th day of October, 2004. <br /> <br />Attest <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br />
