Spring of 2002 the position of Finance Director was <br />created and filled, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works employees are supervised <br />by the Public Works Director, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Admini~trator is responsible for the overall <br />management, leadership, communication, and accomplishment of Council <br />directed goals and objectives, and, <br /> <br />, <br />WHEREAS, the Council deems quality, consistency, and thoroughness of <br />wQrk,~s ~ss~Dtial ~!:!P core cori;-ponents of service to the citizens of <br />Cente~iIIe. . ... .; . <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the City Fina.nce <br />Director shall be named as Director of Finance and Business and, as a <br />Department Head will directly supervise the office staff, including but not <br />limited to the positions of City Clerk, Account Clerk II, and <br />Receptionist/Account Clerk, and, <br /> <br />LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED that the Dir~ctorof Public Works shall <br />remain as such, and, as a Department Head will directly supervise the <br />public works staff, including but not limited to the positions of Building <br />Inspector, and Public Works Maintenance positions, and, <br /> <br />LET IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is <br />responsible to direct and supervise the Department Heads identifying the <br />priority work necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the City <br />Council, and, . . <br /> <br />. .~, - ,- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-0.65' : Page 1 of2 Pages <br />... : '.' -. {" ,.., . <br />
