<br />Base Bid A pertains to a Fluted Column. Bid B to Pedesta Spheroid. and Bid C to Composite
<br />Type Tank.
<br />
<br />The lowest Did came from Maguire Iron with a Basc Bid of $943, I] 5.35 for a pedestal spheroid
<br />tank. The lowest composite Bid is for $1,025.020 from Landmark. All Bids have been revicwed
<br />and found to be in order.
<br />
<br />The engineer's estimate for a spheroid tank was $825,000 a ld S900,000 for the composite. The
<br />Bids were about 14% above the estimatc, primarily due to steel prices increasing dramatically
<br />recently. Tank lighting and a larger logo also added to the ircreased price.
<br />
<br />Maguire Iron from Sioux Falls, Soulh Dakota, has done n',any tanks for us in the past. They
<br />actually specialize in this size tank and are very capable fur performing the work.
