The occupation may involve limited retail sale or rental of products on the <br />premises, provided all stock in trade is completely enclosed in the principal <br />structure. Retail merchandise may not constitute more than fifty percent (50%) of <br />the principal structure square footage; and <br /> <br />G. Unless completely enclosed within an approved structure, no vehicle used in the <br />conduct of the occupation shall be parked, stored or otherwise present at the <br />premises other than such as is customarily used for domestic or household <br />purposes. See Section 130-140: Outside Storage.; and <br /> <br />H. Only on-site off-street parking facilities typically associated with a residence shall <br />be used; and <br /> <br />I. The conduct of an occupation or the use of substances which may be hazardous to <br />or in any way jeopardize the health, safety or welfare of neighbors and neighboring <br />property shall not be permitted. <br /> <br />Division 40: Sina/e-Familv Dwel/inq Requirements <br /> <br />All Single-familY, detached dwellings shall be constructed according to the following minimum <br />standards: <br /> <br />A. All dwellings shall have a minimum width of twenty-four (24) feet at its narrowest <br />point, with the exception of the M-1 District; and <br /> <br />B. Metal siding, with exposed panels exceeding twelve (12) inches in width, shall not <br />be permitted; and <br /> <br />C. All newly constructed Single-family, detached dwellings shall have attached <br />garages. Garages may not be converted to habitable space without replacing the <br />required garage; and <br /> <br />D. Single-family dwellings other than approved earth sheltered homes shall have at <br />least a 3/12 roof pitch and shall be covered with an approved roofing material; and <br /> <br />E. All Single-family dwellings shall have roof overhangs, which extend a minimum of <br />one (1) foot from all the walls of the structure. <br /> <br />Division 45: Temporary Dwel/inQs and Structures <br /> <br />The use and occupancy of a tent, recreation vehicle or other temporary dwellings for the purpose of living <br />quarters is not permitted in the City, except as approved by the City Council under special circumstances. <br /> <br />Temporary structures and trailers used in conjunction with construction work shall be permitted only <br />during the period that the construction work is in progress.
