<br />City of Centerville <br />January 28, 2004 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated that the employee checked the cigarette date and not the <br />alcohol date and they are working with employees to make sure it does not happen again. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated she is not in favor of doing an additional <br />check due to the fact that the department is short staffed. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Paar <br />to aoorove Resolution #04-002 as Dresented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />7. Centerville Lions Request for Special Event Permit - Fishing Contest <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst indicated they have permission from Water Works for access but could <br />obtain it in writing ifnecessary. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that the City would need to be listed as an <br />additional insured. <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst indicated that the City would be named as an additional insured. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Caora. secouded bv Council Member Lee to aoprove <br />the soccial event apolication for the 2004 ice fisbinl! contest on February 7. 2004 <br />from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />8. Centerville Lions - Fete des Lacs 2004 <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she would be opposed to doing the noise permit until <br />l:OO a.m. and would prefer midnight. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee indicated he has no issue going to midnight. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that last year Council requested that alcohol stop being <br />served at 11 :30 p.m. and that is her request for this year. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Canra. seconded bv Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to aoorove the soecial event Hermit for the 2004 Fete des Lacs with tbe <br />dates the 6th throul!h the 8th: Fridav 6:00 n.m. to 11:00 p.m. for liQuor: Saturday <br />9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 o.m. for alcohol. Noise from <br />Noon to Midnil!ht. All in favor.
