(651) 429-8629 STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF ANOKA CITY OF CENTERVILLE RESOLUTION #04 - 005 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the council on October 8, 2003, Res. #03-054, the City Engineer, Bonesroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates has prepared plans and specifications for the construction of a new water tower and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVlLLE, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof; are hereby approved. 2. The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper, Quad Community Press and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 14 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state the bids will be opened on March 3, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall and that the responsibility of the bidders will be considered by the Council at their regularly scheduled meeting of March 11,2004 at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall located at 1880 Main Street, Centerville, Minnesota. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bids will be given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a bid bond. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 28th day of January, 2004. Mayor Attest City Clerk
