He fOl;Jnd some old maps in <br />hIS archives, from 1971, 1984, and 1988. They show the outlIne of ponds and wetfan~s along Brian Drive. <br />prior to any streets or houses. I superfmpOSed these on a current base map of the City in this area. You <br />can see the edge of wetland In the Hardwood Estates pond runs diagonally through t~e current pond <br />footprfnt. <br /> <br />Based on this Information, I would say we could remOVe sediment from the southwestpart of the pond. <br />(within the old wetland delineation) end deposIt It In the northeast area (outside the wet/and). ThIs is very <br />close to what I show on the colored map I sent you on January 13, 2004. We could note on that plan that <br />only sediment from the road be SXC$vated.. This could be monitored In the field during construction. I <br />estimate there is 1 to 2 feet of sediment on top of the original ground line. <br /> <br />I plan to send the map out to sliverallocal contractors early naxt week to provide a cost quote for this work, <br />whIch needs to be done In wInter conditions.
