Dear L10n LaMotte:

. Tbe charter or your club 1s now considered complete with 32
Charter ~embers. and a list of these members 1s enclosed. This
l1st w1ll ~e the authority for issu1ng charter chevrons ten yea.
from now. PLEASE ADVISE BY RETURN MAIL. IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGE
~NTHE SPELLING OF NAMES AND/OR ADDRESSES. THERE WILL BE NO AD-
DITIONS OR DELETIONS FROM THIS CHARTER ROSTER IN ACCORDANCE WITH
LIONS INTERNATIONAL BOARD POLICY.

Now that your. charter membership roster is complete. your
club will be accept1ng new members. In view of th1s, your club
should decide upon the amount of your membership or initiation
fee to be paid by each member accepted, and incorporate 1t in
your Const1tut.ion- and By-Laws.- Our suggestion is that it should
not be less than $10.00. which 1s the prevailing memberShiP.
throughout the Assoc1ation and 1n keeping with the fees aske
s1m1l1ar c~ubs in your communi ty. A proper tee will command s.
pect. . Under Internat10nal Board d1rective, $10.00 ot the member-
ship tee collected by your club sball be remittea to L10ns Inter-
national as an entrance fee for new members. The remainder of
the membership fee 1s retained 1n the club treasury.

Tbe annual membership dues of your club should not be less
than the minimum requ1red by the International Constitution and
By-Laws, or $15.00" er member.. billed preferably semi-annually
1n advance. The International per capita 1s pro-rated on new
members and begins the first of the mo~th 1nwhich the new membe:
is accepted by~our club. (See special form ~ttached)
