<br /> <br />'Estab{isfm{ 1857 <br /> <br />1880 90fain Street _ Centerviffe,!M2'{ 55038 <br /> <br />(651) 429-3232 -:F~ (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04 - 005 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the council on October 8, 2003, Res. <br />#03-054, the City Engineer, Bonesroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates has prepared plans <br />and specifications for the construction of a new water tower and has presented such plans <br />and specifications to the Council for approval; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof; are hereby approved. <br />2. The City Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper, <br />Quad Community Press and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for <br />bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and <br />specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 14 days, shall specify the <br />work to be done, shall state the bids will be opened on March 3, 2004 at 10:00 <br />a.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall and that the responsibility of the <br />bidders will be considered by the Council at their regularly scheduled meeting of <br />March 11, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, in the Council Chambers of the <br />City Hall located at 1880 Main Street, Centerville, Minnesota. Any bidder whose <br />responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bids will be given an <br />opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a bid bond. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 28th day of January, 2004. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
