City of Centerville April 14, 2004 Council Meeting Minutes VI. PUBLIC HEARINGS L Lot Combination Request Submitted by Mr. & Mrs. Douglas Chesnut (Lots 4 and 5. Block I - The Shores Subdivision) Mayor Sweeney opened the public hearing at 7:14 p.m. Council Member Capra stated she spoke to the Rehbein's, and that they have no problem with this lot combination. Motion bv Council Member CaRra. seconded bv Council Member Lee. to close the public hearinl!. AD in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. Mayor Sweeney closed the public hearing at 7: 17 p.rn. Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. to aoorove the Lot Combination Roouest submitted bv Mr. & Mrs. Dougl1l8 Chesunt (Lots 4 and 5. Block 1 - The Shores Subdivision). AD in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. 2. Lot Solits Request Submitted by Mr. Richard Davidson (1337 Mound Trail) Council Member Broussard Vickers stated the existing house would become a non- conformity once the lot split occurred. There was a discussion about access for the fire department to the property and the need for a 20-foot road with a five-ton design. Mayor Sweeney suggested getting something in writing from the property owner saying they would build a five-ton road if the City grants the lot split. Council Member Capra suggested continuing the public hearing in order to address the issues with the property owner. Motion bv Council Member CaRra. seconded bv Council Member Lee to continue the Rnblic hearinl!. AD in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. Public Works Director will be in contact with the property owner. 3. Street VacationlEasement Submitted by Mr. Clay Alcock (Mill Road Extension/Sth Street) 4.
