Page 1 of1

1

J

.1

Kim Moore-Sykes

.

From: . Peterson, Tom W [tpeterson@bonestroo.com]
Sent: Wednesday, March 31, 200410:54 AM
To: Kim Moore Sykes; Paul Palzer
Cc: Schluender, Dan S
Subject: Pond Dredging Plan

Hi Kim and Paul,

I thought I better take a look at the ponds while it's fresh in my mind and determine which ones to do next winter.
I think the dredging done by Amt Construction on Hardwood Estates went very well. .

There are four sites that should be considered in 2005:

1. North of nOd Street and east of Brian Drive. Excavate sediment and vegetation north and south
between the culverts and to the east several hundred feet.

2. West of Brian Drive and south of 73rd Street. Excavate sediment and vegetation north and south
between the culverts and to the west several hundred feet.

3. North of 73'" Street and west of Brian Drive. Excavate sediment and vegetation for several hundred
feet north of 73rd Street culvert.

4. South of Center Street and west of Sumac Court. Excavate sediment and vegetation in the existing
pond, mainly between the three culverts.

The 2004 Dredging was about 5,000 cubic yards, totaling approximately $40,000. A rough estimate for the four
locations noted above is $60,000 to $80,000.

Let me know how you want us to proceed with this. We have time to make revisions and changes.

Thanks,

Tom

4/21/2004
