Anoka County identified surplus parcels and the City is ready to proceed. Some
of the funding will come out of the Downtown Redevelopment Fund.
City Administrator Larson reported that one property still has a building on it. Initially, it
was agreed that all buildings would be cleared off the property. He stated that a lease
agreement would be set up for that building.
Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to
move forward with the Acquisition of Surplus Parcels from Anoka County as
outlined in the agenda materials. En in.~ Bering Fees Associated with Change Order #2
City Engineer Statz reviewed a draft Change Order 2 for the Peltier Lake Drive
Project -2009.01. He stated that Change Order #2 is purely elective.
City Engineer Statz stated that, with the pending Trail Project, the trail is scheduled
to be on the east side of the road on top of the location where the watermain would
likely go. He stated that it would be timely to put in the watermain before the trail.
City Engineer Statz stated, twenty years ago some residents were given services,
but others did not want them. Public Works Director Palzer has requested install
services for all lots that do not have them. Six would have to be put it in, and six
could wait. However, it would end confusion to put them all in at this time.
