City of Centerville City Council Meeting June 24, 2009 City Administrator Larson reported that the cost of each of the ten easements would be $400, making the total amount $4,000. City Engineer Statz presented some slides and provided updates. City Administrator Larson stated that the amount to be authorized should not exceed $5,000. Motion bv Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Paar. to authorize the additional easement appraisals. not to exceed $5.000. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. 5. Resolution 09-0XX - AppOinting Acting Mavor & Order of Succession Mayor Capra stated that the purpose of this resolution is to give the order of succession in the event that the current Mayor cannot continue in the position. Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Paar. to approve Resolution 09-0XX Appointing Acting Mavor & Order of Succession. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. IX. ANNOUNCEMENTSfUPDATES I. City Administrator. Dallas Larson Backvard Drainage Proiect City Administrator Larson reported that the Backyard Drainage Project for County Road 14 has been delayed until the end of July. City Engineer Statz stated that the contractor changed his original schedule, and he has decided to finish the street work first. The contractor offered to set up temporary fencing to the residents at his cost. City Engineer Statz stated that there had been a lack of communication as to the importance of the time schedule. Councilmember Broussard Vickers stated that the Council needs to communicate to the contractor what the next anticipated completion date should be. Discussion ensued. With regard to the CSAH 14 Project, City Administrator Larson stated that it will be two weeks before they pave the trail. Page 4 of 5 4-
