Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes December 6. 2005 The Applicant indicated that the fabric is water permeable. Chair Hanson asked whether the total tree number is up or down. The Applicant indicated it is up three to five and with the plants there are 75 across the ~m. . Chair Hanson asked whether the green space requirement is met and noted that 10% of green space is required. The Applicant indicated they have a large area in the back that is all natural and there is a strip of sod done by the neighboring property. Commissioner Klennert Hunt indicated that she would not have. an issue with this plan as long as it meets the requirements. . The Applicant indicated that the watershed district representative haS approved the landscaping as planned. The Commission agreed that the plan looks nice and asked that any future deviations from an approved plan be brought to the City for approval. Ordinance #6 Nuisance - 6A Nuisance Abatement & #39 Signage City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff continues to research how to handle this situation and will report back. He then said that the City may be able to regulate the size and number of signs but regulating the content is not as easy to do. VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS 1. Downtown Redevelopment City Administrator Larson showed a drawing of the proposed downtown area He then indicated that they are working with the library on having a resource library in town. Commissioner Klennert Hunt suggested Commissioners attend the next public meeting if possible as she really got a lot of information and felt it was very ben~ficial.
