<br />City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting <br />July 8, 2009 <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the City may be able to change the rules to allow <br />parking by permit only, so residents could park there with a permit. <br /> <br />4. Music in the Park <br /> <br />The first Music in the Park event was held on Tuesday evening, July 7, with approximately <br />47 people in attendance. <br /> <br />5. Planning & Zoning Commission <br /> <br />Councilmember Fehrenbacher reported that, at the last Planning & Zoning Commission <br />meeting, there was a potential variance request for metal roofing. The Commission <br />discussed whether to consider updating the code to allow metal roofing and would like to <br />look at doing this long-term, rather than short-term. <br /> <br />6. Disaster Training <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reported that the Centennial Fire District has completed disaster training <br />exercises. In one, there was a bus turnover incident. In another session in Lino Lakes, <br />there was an incident with a prison bus turnover. Mayor Capra reported that every worst- <br />case scenario was covered and they did an excellent job. <br /> <br />XI.
