<br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated color and design of the building were not <br />that important to her provided it was aesthetically pleasing to look at. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra questioned the location of the proposed trail way in relation to <br />the trees on the Shad A venue corner of the property. Mr. Drilling pointed out the <br />trailway on the site plan map and indicated if the County will not allow the trees to stay <br />where they are, they will be relocated somewhere else on the property. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg questioned the amount of commercial development in an area before <br />the City needs to talk to the County about adding turn lanes on Main Street. Mr. Peterson <br />indicated the request is usually as a result of a number of accidents in the area. Just <br />adding the driveway onto Main Street would not warrant turn lanes. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg questioned whether it was a good idea for the driveways from the two <br />(2) commercial areas to match up. Mr. Peterson concurred. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg questioned whether the City needed to restrict the hours of operation to <br />mitigate noise for neighboring residents. Council Member Broussard Vickers stated that <br />City Ordinance would cover this issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg questioned whether Centerville restricts 24-hour businesses. Council <br />Member Broussard Vickers indicated 24-hour businesses have not been an issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg questioned whether the Fire Chief would have a problem with the berm <br />and fence. Mr. Drilling indicated there should be plenty of access for fire vehicles. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated final site plan approval would be <br />contingent upon the approval ofthe police and fire departments. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson questioned if permission was granted from Anoka County and <br />Rice Creek Watershed to fill in the ditch and connect the trail, whether or not Mr. <br />Drilling was willing to pay for same. Mr. Drilling said he would be willing to share in <br />the expense with the City to connect the trail as it would be less maintenance for him. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis indicated he did not have a problem with the proposed site plan <br />and felt no need for the City to get involved with the architectural features and colors of <br />the building. The concerns of residents have been met and he can think of no other <br />additions to the site plan. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if Mr. Drilling could hang up the colored map of the <br />building. Council Member Capra questioned whether the colors on the map were the <br />colors Mr. Drilling intended to use for the building. Mr. Drilling indicated the colors <br />were not the colors he intended to use for the building and requested input from Council. <br />Mr. Drilling expressed a desire to have this proposed building look similar to, but not <br />exactly like, the existing building. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked Mr. Drilling to incorporate the same green <br />color used for the shingles on the other building into some aspect of the proposed <br />building.
