<br />March 28, 2001 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Consensus was to modify the meeting of April 7, 2001 to 10:00 a.m. and to modify the <br />meeting of April 10, 200! to 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg reviewed the submitted draft goals and requested input from Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers stated she would be more comfortable if dollar <br />amounts were removed from the document before the document was made available to <br />the public. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg indicated the document would be edited as requested and presented to <br />the public at the open houses. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson thanked Mayor Swedberg for his efforts to draft the document. <br /> <br />IX. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />I. The City of Centerville March 15, through March 28, 200 I Expenditures <br />2. Centennial Fire District Expenditures <br />3. Planning and Zoning Commission's Recommendation to Appoint Linda <br />Broussard Vickers as Council Liaison <br />4. LeJournal (Proof) <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded bv Council Member <br />Nelson to approve the Consent Al!:enda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimouslv. <br /> <br />X. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg noted he had read through the minutes from the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission's discussion concerning mini-storage facilities. He noted the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission had held a thorough discussion and thanked them for their <br />consistency in following Ordinance #4. <br /> <br />XI. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. March requested that Council set a work session date to interview design firms. <br />Consensus was to schedule a work session for April 17, 2001. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg requested Council schedule a work session to discuss budgets and <br />economics for Tuesday April 24, 2001. Mayor Swedberg requested that Mr. March <br />attend same. <br /> <br />Mr. March reported he had spoken to Mr. Bisek, Kelly's Korner, who indicated the water <br />is not pooling in his parking lot as it has in the past. Mr. March then recommended <br />Council consider the drainage issue as part of the downtown redevelopment project. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
