<br />City of Centerville Goals <br />Adopted May 23, 2001 <br /> <br />COMMUNICATION <br /> <br />Council formed an Ad Hoc Committee Chaired by Theresa Brenner to examine <br />communication methods and to make recommendations on Websites, newsletters, <br />cable television, and records management such as document archival and imaging. <br />Council desires a comprehensive review of all areas of communication and particularly <br />is interested in methods that enhance participation from the citizens of Centerville. <br /> <br />Responsible Leader: <br />Product: <br />Timeline: <br />Comments: <br /> <br />Theresa Brenner <br />Final Report to Council <br />Wednesday, November 12, 2001 Council Meeting <br />Progress reports from the Committee would be helpful. <br />Council may implement committee recommendations <br />Prior to the final report date. <br /> <br />Accomplished to Date: <br />. Staff has investigated Laserfiche document archival software and is exploring <br />other vendors that can provide electronic storage of City documents and plans. <br />Council will probably get a recommendation this year <br />. A new bimonthly magazine called Town Life may offer an opportunity to inform <br />and promote Centerville to our residents and surrounding communities. <br />. Progress reports and recommendations from the committee are being <br />implemented as they come before Council <br />.
