<br />City of CenteNille Goals <br />Adopted May 23, 2001 <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND PLANNING <br /> <br />Economic Development and Planning <br />Item 1. Design Plans <br />Commercial and Industrial Concept and Streetscape Plans: <br /> <br />Council wants professional advice on design criteria for the commercial and industrial <br />properties east of 20th Avenue towards the freeway and help with old town renovations. <br />We want to get ahead of the development curve that Council views as accelerating. <br /> <br />Council will use the existing Boonestro streetscape plan as a guide during water <br />renovations in the downtown area. The architect for the County Bank project will <br />provide architectural guidelines for the commercial development east of 20th Avenue. <br />The plan will be referenced as part of the planning and zoning requirements for the <br />commercial area near the freeway. <br /> <br />Responsible Leaders: <br /> <br />Council with input and review from Economic Development <br />Committee, Planning and Zoning Committee, and Jim March <br />Concept Plans for Commercial and Industrial Property <br />Streetscape Plans for Main Street, 20th Avenue, Downtown <br />Design Criteria Options for Developers <br />Upon completion and review <br />As commercial and industrial properties are developed and <br />Streetscapes phased in to complete <br /> <br />Products: <br /> <br />TimeJine: <br />Comments: <br /> <br />Accomplishments to date: <br />Bonestroo Engineers selected for downtown streetscape using existing plan.
