<br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 13,2001 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers to approve the Parks and <br />Recreation Committee. Recommendation Number 3. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated there needed to be fencing around a pole <br />coming out of the ground in the main electrical area and that wire needed to be run to the <br />scoreboard. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis questioned the need for a scoreboard. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated he felt the matter could wait until the next Council meeting for further <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded bv Conncil Member Capra to table <br />Parks and Recreation Committee. recommendation Numbers 2. 3. and 4 to the next <br />Council Meeting. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Motion by Mavor Swedbere:. seconded bv Council Member Capra to table <br />Waterworks Beach Club Liquor Violation. Emplovee Wae:es and Benefits, <br />Ordinance #4 Amendments, and the Quad City Police Department Investie:ation to <br />the next meetine:. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />X. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The City ofCenterville May 23, through June 13,2001 Expenditures. <br />2. Centennial Fire District Expenditures & City Monthly Services. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Nelson. seconded bv Council Member Capra to <br />approve Consent Ae:enda Items 1 and 2 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />XI. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />XII. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. March noted he would wait until the next Council meeting to report on the Turcotte <br />purchase agreement. <br /> <br />Mr. March reported that the Week in Review is being sent to Quad Community Press as <br />requested by Council. <br /> <br />Mr. March noted he had spoken to Mr. Quigley who indicated he had met with one (1) of <br />the townhome associations and would be meeting with the other prior to coming before <br />the Plauning and Zoning Commission in July. <br /> <br />Page 24 of25 <br />
