<br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />11'10( f\.pprOVeo <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 10, 2000 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly <br />scheduled meeting on May 10,2000, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Member Dick Travis <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br />Council Member Mari Nelson <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF: City Attorney, James Hoeft <br />City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the May 10, 2000 City Council meeting to order at 6:05 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />II. PUBLIC HEARING (S) <br /> <br />Ordinance #4 <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated the Planning and Zoning Commission has been working <br />on this Ordinance along with Council Member Broussard Vickers. Council <br />Member Broussard Vickers suggested having this item heard by the public and <br />then discussed later in the meeting amongst the Council Members. <br /> <br />The public hearing was opened at 6:09 p.m. <br /> <br />Ray Devine, Planning and Zoning Member, stated there are stilI several <br />definitions lacking within this Ordinance. Mr. Devine stated the grand-fathering <br />within this Ordinance would also need greater clarification. He suggested that all <br />concerns be placed in writing and brought back to the Planning Commission for <br />further discussion. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated a memo from each Council <br />Member addressing changes may be a more efficient way of reviewing this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />Motion bY Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council <br />Member Nelson to table the public hearinl!: and discussion of Ordinance #4 <br />until the Mav 24. 2000 City Council Meetinl!:.
