Chairperson Michael Navin called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Michael Navin <br />Dale Larson <br />Karla DeVine <br />Steve Brown (arrived at 6:35) <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Doug Porter <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />Jim March <br />Jill Lien <br />Paul Palzer <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br /> <br />Resident: <br /> <br />Wayne LeBlanc <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br />December I. 1999 Park and Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes <br />Mr. Larson questioned the delegation of goals amongst the committee members, and why <br />Mr. LeBlanc was included as a member of Park and Recreation. Mr. Navin and Ms. Lien <br />explained that at the previous meeting, Mr. LeBlanc volunteered to help with exploring <br />grants for future trails. Mr. LeBlanc is present at all of the Park and Recreation meetings, <br />so he offered to help with the "trail goals". Mr. Larson requested the minutes be changed <br />to reflect that Mr. LeBlanc is a resident who would like to be involved in the structuring <br />of the trails in Centerville. <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. DeVine, seconded by Mr. Larson to approve the December 1, 1999 <br />Park and Recreation Committee meeting minutes with noted change. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer made a brief appearance explaining the accounting practices and budget <br />amounts related to maintenance of the parks. <br /> <br />1 <br />
