TREES
Mr. Larson took "ownership" of the trees in all of the parks. He will visit the parks
during the month of January and make a rough sketch of each, indicating where the
current trees are, and where placement of additional trees should go. He will also give a
tirnefrarne of when he would like to see this completed and bring it to the February
meeting.

BENCHESrrABLESrrRASH RECEPTACLES
Mr. Porter wasn't able to attend the Park and Recreation meeting but was kind enough to
drop offhis list of goals earlier.

Slide replacement for Royal Meadows
Trash Receptacle
Benches
Tables

$2300
$ 295
$ 300
$ 525

The trash receptacle, benches and tables are the same type as what are used at the Acorn
Creek Park.

Mr. Porter also wanted to inform the committee that for budget purposes, the increase in
price would be approximately 3% per year.

Mr. Navin commented that Mr. Porter will need to provide us with dates he would like to
see these goals completed.

GENERAL LIGHTING
Mr. Brown stated that he tried getting through to NSP, but didn't have any luck. He will
bring more information and dates to the next meeting.

Mr. Larson questioned the lighting that was offered to the City from Mr. Rich DeFoe of
Waterworks. Mr. Navin commented that he tried to contact Mr. DeFoe, but wasn't able
to reach him. He will try to reach him again in hopes of discussing the plans for the
lighting.

LANDSCAPING (Signs/All Parks)
Ms. DeVine had some figures relating to landscaping around all ofthe park signs. She
wanted to gather additional information, which she will present at the next meeting.

PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT (Royal Meadows Park)
Ms. DeVine checked with GarneTime regarding a slide for Royal Meadows Park. Slides
run between $1400 - $3000, which she felt was very high for just a slide. Ms. DeVine

3

L
